We just bought some gummy vitamins and my kids love them. Emily has been asking for them all the time and to avoid any danger of overdose I put them on a high shelf and told her not to touch them, "OR ELSE".
Tonight I got them down and was immediately preoccupied with something else. Emily asked if she could open them and hand them out. I said no. I wasn't too worried because they have a childproof lid. She can't even manage her apple juice straw at times. Next thing I know she shouts that she opened it. I asked how she did that and she said, "It says right here, 'push down and turn'."
I guess childproof lids don't work if the child can read and the instructions are right on the lid!
